kunstrai 2025 the 40th edition
Booth 1 Vroom & Varossieau at KunstRai 2025
A celebration of art, innovation, and harmony in design
The 40th edition of KunstRAI Amsterdam was a landmark celebration of contemporary art, marking four decades of artistic innovation and cultural dialogue. This year’s fair brought together leading galleries, collectors, and creators from around the world—offering a vibrant platform for both established voices and emerging talents. We were proud to participate in this special edition with a powerful and thoughtfully curated presentation of artists and design objects that sparked conversation, emotion, and enthusiasm among collectors and curators alike.
Here’s a closer look at the exceptional talents we showcased during KunstRAI 2025:
Ronan Dillon
Ronan Dillon presented a standout series of sculptural wall works made from tufted sheepskin, a medium both tactile and emotionally charged. These pieces explore the complexities of identity, masculinity, and vulnerability through a raw and poetic material language. With strong visual impact and delicate storytelling, Dillon’s work balances softness with strength, embodying a deeply personal yet universally resonant artistic vision.
Willem Hoeffnagel
Art Collector Janet Welp & Willem Hoeffnagel
Willem Hoeffnagel’s signature faceless figures once again drew much attention for their distinctive visual style and psychological depth. His new works at KunstRAI further refined this aesthetic, placing his anonymous characters in emotionally charged scenarios that subtly reference themes of isolation, anonymity, and human connection. His paintings invite the viewer to project their own narratives, making each canvas both intimate and open-ended.
Jade van der Mark
Jade van der Mark captivated audiences with her large-scale figurative works brimming with dynamic brushwork and layered societal commentary. Her pieces reflect a bold confrontation with urban life, social inequality, and community, merging beauty and critique in equal measure. With a distinct painterly style and an unflinching eye for detail, Van der Mark continues to push the boundaries of contemporary figurative painting.

Adriana Olivier
Adriana Olivier presented her signature resin-layered collages, blending photography, painting, and nostalgic imagery into vibrant, multi-dimensional compositions. Her work bridges past and present with a contemporary lens on memory and emotion. Each piece is rich in both material and meaning, offering collectors a sensory experience that resonates beyond the surface.

Selwyn Senatori
Selwyn Senatori surprised many with a striking departure from his well-known pop-art style. His new conceptual body of work is more introspective, leaning into abstraction and symbolism. These pieces reveal a matured and philosophical artist exploring existential themes through minimalist compositions and thoughtful gestures. This new chapter in Senatori’s career showcases his ability to evolve and remain deeply relevant.

Jurren Sluiter (Master of Goals)
Jurren Sluiter, known as “Master of Goals,” introduced new works celebrating achievement, purpose, and personal evolution. His clean visual language draws from modern iconography and motivational aesthetics, making his work both visually compelling and mentally stimulating. These pieces speak directly to ambition, aligning perfectly with collectors who seek inspiration in their environment.

Super Future Kid
Super Future Kid brought her signature dreamlike universe to Amsterdam with vivid, color-saturated paintings that merge nostalgia, fantasy, and pop culture. Her works transport viewers into surreal inner landscapes where innocence meets complexity. With influences from early internet culture, anime, and emotional introspection, her art resonates across generations and borders.

Sidney Waerts
Sidney Waerts presented a refined and emotionally rich series that combined layered textures, symbolic forms, and a deep sense of cultural narrative. Drawing from urban influences and classical techniques, his work stood out for its ability to connect street aesthetics with museum-worthy execution. Waerts continues to bridge different worlds with authenticity and skill.

The Boring Collection by Lensvelt & Space Encounters
In addition to our fine art presentation, we were pleased to display several pieces from the Boring Collection—a minimalist and conceptually driven furniture line designed by Lensvelt in collaboration with architectural firm Space Encounters. The collection includes items such as desks, chairs, clocks, and waste bins, all in a neutral grey tone that deliberately refrains from drawing attention.
The beauty of the Boring Collection lies in its silence. In an environment filled with visually powerful artworks, these pieces act as the perfect complement—functional, elegant, and never disruptive. Their understated design philosophy makes them ideal for galleries, studios, and collectors’ homes where the focus remains on the art itself. Visitors responded positively to the thoughtful integration of furniture and art, seeing it as a statement in harmony rather than contrast.
